Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Repetitive hyperactive muscle movement within the face causes deep dynamic wrinkles, most commonly in the forehead, frown and eye area. Careful injection of Botulinum toxin (Botox®) into these selected muscles causes temporary paralysis of them which inhibits the movement of muscle, reducing and preventing the dynamic wrinkles from occurring.

Furthermore, anti-wrinkle injections help soften lines and wrinkles that have formed over time through loss of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid; these are known as static lines.

As this is a prescription only medication, a qualified prescriber will be present during your consultation to help decide what is best for you.

Recovery time

24hours but you can resume work immediately.

Results and duration

Visible effects of treatment can be seen between two days and two weeks post treatment and last three to four months.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers restore the volume lost with time causing sagging, an undefined jawline and contour slackness.

This is predominately due to loss of hyaluronic acid, misplacement of skin fat, and bone reabsorption. Dermal fillers restore the hyaluronic acid that used to be produced naturally by our skin; attracting water, plumping out the area and withstanding compressive tension caused by expressive movement.

These are mainly used in the lower two thirds of the face; within the cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines and lips.

Varies between patient but approximately 48 hours.
